well, well, well....

It seems that I have a slight problem.....
I am a terrible blogger!
OOPS!
Better "luck" next time :)

SO... here is next time...

Hello! I'm Amanda...wife to an aMaZiNg husband, mother to 4 full-of-life kiddos (check out previous blogs), daughter, sister, & friend. Those are my "roles". I fall short in all areas, daily. By God's grace, mercy, and promise, every morning is new (Lamentations 3:23).

Current Events:
Zeke (12 months) is walking! He turned 1 on the 9th of March and started walking on the 14th. :-)
Jillian (2 1/2 years old) is completely potty-trained! Officially a full time big girl :-) (aside from the not-so-big-girl temper tantrums that DO occur....."oh, but she's so cute!" -- yes! even the cute ones have not-so-cute moments)
Molly (almost 6 1/2 years old) has been SUPER excited about reading her Bible and just started soccer. She didn't want to play last year and this year, was very excited to join Eli. Due to the prolonged winter weather, practice has been cancelled a couple of times. Games start next week! Hope it warms up!!!
Eli (5 years old) visited the ER for the 1st time ever on March 9th. He got his finger run over in the track of the garage door....at his birthday party :( Off to the ER we went....doc super glued the cut shut, put a splint on it and sent us out the door! The finger is healing very nicely. The nail hasn't come off yet, but it will. Eli has done really well with it all! He is also playing soccer and is pretty pumped that his buddies are on his soccer team :)
Haylee (our cat) is still blind. She is doing well.

We have had a VERY busy start to 2013! Things are finally starting to slow down (I think). No current deadlines for things.....and I do believe we actually have some Saturdays that are EMPTY on the calendar!!!....for now....

We are teaching the kids to memorize and meditate on God's word. Starting with Psalm 23:
v.1: The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
How sweet to hear the little voice of Jillian speak these words. Probably not fully understanding the meaning yet, but sweet nonetheless. She confidently recites these precious words to receive our praise.....
If it sounds this beautiful to me, I can't even begin to imagine how AWESOME it sounds to God!

Our God is so good!

up to date....

Once again it has been WaY tOo long since my last post!

Bringing you up to speed:
Jillian is now 2!
She woke up on the very day of her birthday and just gave it to us FULL FORCE!
We had melt-downs like no other - starting 9/13/2012 - full out flopping on the floor, face down, crying, fits! UnBeLiEvEaBlE!!!!!

Happy:

Not so happy:

A few days later, we celebrated with a Tutu themed party!

This fall, Eli wanted to play soccer!
 some games he played hard....
...and some games he didn't...
Jillian's favorite part of soccer was when she got to enjoy the snack too :)
He figured out how to kick and run ... instead of his usual kick and stop :)
He looks satisfied with his performance :)
 ... tossing it in...
 ... yep... he's carrying a small branch...

Overall, soccer was a fun. He wants to play next season, so I think he enjoyed it :)

One of Eli's favorite places to be: the roof of the garage. Typical boy.

Trent and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary in September. We went to Red Lobster....with the kids :)

...and we survived :)

OCTOBER

Molly is now 6!
Of course we couldn't just have a regular birthday party. Molly likes dramatic things....SO....a Beauty and the Beast themed birthday party is what she asked for. She wanted everyone to dress up like something from the movie. And of course she was Belle.
But first....bowling!!

 Party pictures:

 Zeke: the footstool
Lumiere & the feather duster
 Mrs. Potts & the chair
Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Chip, & Cinderella
A pumpkin (one from the cart at the beginning of the movie), & Cogsworth
 Chip
 the cake

Goofy photos...

And last but not least.....we ended the night with a dance-off!!

Some other shots of the season:

Zeke got tubes.

God sure has been busy at work!

Yummy food...

 Some good ol' fun....

A loose tooth!....it's getting more wiggly all the time!

This fall has been great!
God has been blessing us in many ways! We are ALWAYS looking forward to seeing what He has in store for us next :)
